The founder of the website

BETDAQ is a sports betting exchange, which was founded in Ireland in 2000 by businessman Dermot Desmond, who is also the owner of Celtic Football Club. BETDAQ was bought by Ladbrokes in 2013 for €30 million and works under licenses obtained from both Gibraltar and the Solomon Islands.

The BETDAQ website can be found at: www.betdaq.com and www.betdaq.co.uk. The company currently gear their operations mainly towards customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Customers can use all of the popular payment methods in order to deposit and withdraw funds, although when using credit cards or the Skrill and Neteller payment systems, customers receive a 50% free bet, up to £1000 – free of commission. As is the norm for betting exchanges, BETDAQ charge a commission, which is set at 3%, on all winning bets. BETDAQ is more suitable for serious/professional punters, as opposed to casual players.
