Live-betting is a kind of bets that are made and accepted after a match kicks off. These bets became popular in 2003-2004 and now the majority of bookmakers provide them.

The main difference from bets made before the match is that the odds are rapidly changing and the bets are accepted with a few seconds delay to prevent the bets with wrongly high odds (mistakenly provided by a bookmaker) and the bets on the events that already happened.

Some inexperienced players think that when they are given the opportunity to make live bets, it will be easier for them to win. In fact, according to statistics, there is no difference between the winning of bets made before and during the game. The odds, as always, are calculated based on the probability of a particular outcome, and change in accordance with the game’s tempo.

Live-betting is very popular among surebettors, as live odds are often changing erratically and surebets occur much more frequently than in conventional pre-match lines.
