Fundamental (traditional) bookmakers

A traditional bookmaker offers players average or wide action line, adding a medium or high margin (the higher the margin, the lower the odds).

The margin of a traditional bookmaker is normally seven percent.

They normally suit amateur players that do not play often as they offer a wide range of stakes, while also giving gamblers the chance to carry out live betting in a variety of different markets. However, professionals sometimes use them, too, as surebets often occur there.

The opposite of the traditional bookmakers are the low-margin betting companies, such as Pinnacle Sports, which tend to attract seasoned players, who are not satisfied with the fundamental bookmakers. Here, professionals often have the maximum odds cut, and some of fundamental betting companies try to ban them from using their services.
