FC Ufa – CSKA Moscow

CSKA are playing a very important match on Sunday against Spartak Moscow. This is one of the most fierce derbies in Europe. That’s why they don’t want to put off their progress to the semi-finals till extra time and will try to win in the regular.

Ufa have sold their goalkeeper David Yurchenko to Anji Makhachkala and have one of the weakest rosters in Russia. I don’t think they have anything to oppose CSKA, if the away team is duly motivated.

Pick: CSKA to win at 1.65

FC Krasnodar – Terek Grozni

Krasnodar were extremely disappointing in the Europa League matches against Sparta Prague. They conceded four in two matches and luckily avoided many goals more.

Their wingbacks looked extremely poor, letting Sparta make as many crosses as they wanted. Krasnodar’s tall central defenders also looked passive, especially in the second halves of the two-leg encounter, letting in numerous headers from Sparta.

Terek slightly resemble the Czechs and could give the same problems to the home team. I definitely don’t see Krasnodar keeping a clean sheet here. Bookies give 1.67 odds on Terek to score, which is a very good price.

Pick: Terek Grozni To Score at 1.67
