It’s going to be press vs. counterpress at St.Mary’s. Ronald Koeman’s lads have played better than their results show of late, and I don’t expect him to make massive personnel changes. It’s true that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are riding a wave of enthusiasm but found it hard on Sunday at home against an opponent that shut up shop. Southampton won’t do that, so we probably ought to expect goals. 4 or more goals is 3.60 with Ladbrokes and looks quite an attractive proposition. Otherwise, it’s pretty tight and there isn’t much between the two. A draw at 4.33 looks pretty tasty, particulary given that it’s a cup tie and both teams will go for it.
