Given Newcastle’s record in this fixture previously (and how rubbish they’ve been generally) I can only assume the fact that the Geordies are such favorites is down to the Rafa effect. Well, I can see how that would work in his first game, going away from home and needing to park the bus. But this match is different.
Sunderland have been better than their results. Sunderland +1 goal at 1.70 is a decent play but if you want something more substantial, take Sunderland win and both teams to score at 6.50.
