Tipos – Overview & Rating

TIPOS is a Slovak national lottery company whose 100% shareholder is the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. TIPOS operates on the Internet under the TIPOS brand, where you will find products such as lotteries, odds betting, casino, poker, bingo, and virtual games. For many years, TIPOS was, in fact, the only legal casino in Slovakia. 

The TIPOS betting company has never had a problem with the diversity of its offers. However, it has been even better with the arrival of competitors. The casino wouldn’t be lost even when compared to its European counterparts. 

Layout and user interface of the site/app

The design of TIPOS is in dark blue, white, and red colors. It looks quite outdated but works conveniently and without any problems. Unfortunately, the resource is available only in Slovak.

Betting in TIPOS is also possible via mobile phones. However, it is necessary to go to the “mobile” section on the TIPOS website and customers can download applications for Android and iOS there. Applications are available for both phones and tablets. Players can place bets on TIPOS anytime and anywhere. There is also a simple version for internet browsers at tipkurzm.etipos.sk.

Services and live

In addition to dividing the odds offered by date and time,  you can also find instructions on how to play. For a complete beginner, this can be helpful. In addition to classic sports, you can also bet on bowls, cycling, golf, cricket, and beach football. The number of derived bets on individual sporting events is not as large as in the competition, but you will have something to choose from.

The minimum bet for SOLO and AKU is €0.5 but for group bets, it is less than € 0.1. The maximum win is divided according to the bet type (SOLO: €650, 2-5 matches: € 1,500, and for 6 to 24 matches it is € 4,000).

Cancellation of a bet is possible within 5 minutes. Like most Slovak bookmakers, TIPOS has abolished the handling fee.

In addition to sports betting, there is also the TIPOS Casino, where you can play a variety of games such as online roulette, slot machines, blackjack, baccarat, or poker.

Live line

TIPOS offers live bets on tennis, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, handball but also baseball, rugby, and snooker. You get to choose up to three matches side by side and others below you in the live betting area. Everything is very fast and clear. TIPOS lists several dozen derived bets for each live bet. Unfortunately, TIPOS does not offer live broadcasts.

Freebies, bonuses, and promotions

There is only a €10 welcome bonus at the beginning, but everyone gets it and it’s up to you how you use it. 

Then there is the Extra First Deposit Bonus. You can only get it if your first deposit is more than €50. After meeting a few fair conditions, you can finally get up to a very decent €350. 

TIPOS also offers a loyalty bonus. With each euro, you earn a certain number of points. It all depends on the exchange rate, but must be higher than 1.5. The loyalty bonus does not apply to system bets and virtual sports. The maximum monthly loyalty bonus is 350 EUR (upon reaching a minimum of 352,500 points). The minimum loyalty bonus is €2.5 if you reach 5000 points. The number of points for a bet of €1 depends on the odds. You also earn points in the casino, bingo, draws.

Some of the player’s problems can be solved by the comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions section. However, if the problem is more complicated, be sure to contact their support. It is available by phone, contact form, or e-mail. The response is fast and their operators are very professional. If you wish to talk to a customer operator live, there is also an online chat available after clicking on the “Register” button or after logging in.

Registration 

You register on the TIPOS website by entering basic data such as login name, password, e-mail, and telephone number. You will then receive an SMS to verify your phone number. 

After inputting the code from the message, you have already created a player account. Verify your email address by clicking the verification link in the email you received. You will then need to complete and verify your personal information.

Financial information

For a deposit to the betting office TIPOS you can use immediate bank transfers, so-called ePayments (TatraPay, Sporopay, Postal Bank, or VUB), payment cards (Diners Club, MasterCard, VISA, VISA Electron), or deposits via SMS (only for Slovak Telekom customers). 

With the exception of the bank transfer, which can take up to three days, the deposits are instant. The minimum deposit is 1 Euro. 

Withdrawals are made by transfer to a bank account. If you win more than € 15,000, you must visit the physical branch TIPOS. The minimum withdrawal is 1 Euro. The processing time ranges from 2 to 5 days. The only accepted currency is Euro.

Reliability, integrity, and safety

Security is at a high level in TIPOS.sk casino. The license says quite strictly what needs to be met and TIPOS goes much further than requested by the Authority. The company uses a modern and proven encryption system. In addition, it is regularly audited. All security certificates are up to date. As a result, there’s no need to be concerned about your money or safety. There are usually no problems with money operations. Deposits and withdrawals are quick and convenient.

What does the site not have?

The biggest shortcomings include low entry bonuses, the absence of sports broadcasts, and Asian handicaps. Multiview is not possible for live betting. 

One of the biggest problems is also the winnings, which are graded according to the number of matches on the ticket. If you play SOLO, the maximum net win is about 650 EUR and if you put 6 or more matches on the ticket, the win can be a little over 4,000 EUR. 

TIPOS does not offer live broadcasts from matches. 

The design is quite outdated. In the TIPOS mobile application, it is not possible to display derived bets for specific events via quick access. The website is available only in Slovak.
