‘Bee the Change’ community dinner to discuss importance of bees, environment, food justice
'Bee the Change' is a four-way partnership between the Zeidler Center for Public Discussion, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Midnight Run and Beevanglists.
Bee the Change is a four-way partnership between the Zeidler Center for Public Discussion, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Midnight Run and Beevangelists. The partnership works to empower meal program guests and community members to become “Beevangelists” certified in beekeeping and dialogue facilitation.
The event takes place August 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Zeidler Center for Public Discussion, 631 N. 19th St. in Milwaukee.
The 2017 community conversation series will highlight Redeemer’s rooftop beehives and focus on the themes of environmental resilience, food justice, the importance of bees, and lessons to be learned from the hive and how to apply them to communities and consumer choices.
