‘Masterworks IV’
Hot off receiving an Emerging Artist Award at Lincoln Center, Moscow-born violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky will return to Madison to perform with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra this March. He’ll present Samuel Barber’s effervescent Violin Concerto, in a program that opens with Joan Trimble’s Suite for Strings and Lars Erik Larsson’s Pastorale and concludes with Beethoven’s joyful Fourth Symphony.
