Zenit – Benfica. Valeri Karpin’s prediction
Zenit lost the first leg and it was fair enough. They are weak even in the Russian Premier league. But Benfica have some problems now: their goalkeeper and three defenders will miss the upcoming game.
I think that Zenit will find the right attitude to win at home. But I can’t say if it is enough to qualify into the Round of 8. Benfica can score and lose with one goal – that would bring them to the next round. And I can’t see Zenit winning by two goal difference.
So I’m backing Zenit to win at FT.
