These two sides started their respective season’s pretty well with West Brom getting a big early season victory down at Crystal Palace whilst Everton managed to secure a 1-1 draw with likely title contenders Tottenham Hotspur.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis has expressed his desire to buy more players in this summer transfer window having only brought in winger Matt Phillips from Queens Park Rangers so far. However, he will be boosted by the fact that highly sought after academy graduate Saido Berahino is now likely to stay for the rest of the season. Although the 23-year-old is a big part of Pulis’s plans, it was his striker partner Salomon Rondon who got the headlines last weekend. The Venezuelan scored the winner against Crystal Palace and seems to have now adjusted to English football. After the game his teammates could not have been more complimentary about him and there were even rather ridiculous rumours of interest from Barcelona.

Everton completed the signing of Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie this week as they look to push for a European place after their poor 2015/16 campaign. The Democratic Republic of Congo international is likely to make his debut at the Hawthorns alongside other recent signing, defender Ashley Williams.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman was particularly brutal towards Oumar Niasse in a press conference this week when he said that ‘if Niasse likes to play football he needs to leave Everton.’ The fact he was so certain about the former Lokomotiv Moscow striker’s future shows he is pretty confident in keeping star striker Romelu Lukaku at Goodison Park.

The Baggies are particularly good at home and I think they will be able to match Everton. I can see this being a tight 1-1 draw – a bet you can get 11/2 about.

As previously mentioned, Saloman Rondon seems to have adjusted to life in England and I would back him to score again here at 23/10.

If you are not one for betting on exact results then you can get Both Teams to Score at 21/20. Rondon is in good form and Everton will always be a threat, even against a sturdy Albion defence.
