Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace Betting Tip

These two sides are likely to be at opposite ends of the table for most of this campaign. Tottenham have managed to keep their core of young players and will be confident of a fight for the title this season. Crystal Palace on the other hand have not improved their squad and have carried on last season’s poor second half of the campaign.

Spurs will have been disappointed to only pick up a point at Goodison Park last weekend but that could turn out to be a very good draw come the end of the season. More frustrating for Maurcio Pocettino will be the injury to his goalkeeper Hugo Lloris; the French international is one of the best keepers in world football. However, Michel Vorm is a more than capable deputy.

Alan Pardew’s Palace side lost a vital cog this week with winger Yannick Bolasie joining Everton. As previously mentioned they have really failed to improve the squad and are desperately missing a goalscorer. They have reached an agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of Belgium international Christian Benteke but the deal will not be completed in time for the former Aston Villa striker to play in this London derby.

Tottenham should be winning this match with ease if they have ambitions to challenge for the title once more and I doubt they will have a problem doing so.

As previously mentioned Crystal Palace’s forward line is pretty woeful and I doubt they will cause a solid Tottenham defence any problems.
