Basel somehow went against the odds to beat Fiorentina in the reverse fixture 2-1 in Italy last week. Fiorentina are expected to fightback in order to reach the final. Both teams rarely play draws, at least, in their last five matches, Basel didn’t draw a game, while the Serie A side registered only one draw. As a result, I’ve backed either team to win this game. AZ Alkmaar vs West Ham

West Ham United came from behind to beat AZ Alkmaar 2-1 in London last week. They are aware that a draw in the Netherlands is enough to see them reach the Conference League final. AZ may be in better shape than the Hammers currently, but the Premier League side knows how to manage a game. Prediction: Away team to win or draw | Odds: 1.43

Bayer Leverkusen vs AS Roma

AS Roma won the reverse fixture 1-0 in Italy last week and they need at least a draw to go through. Jose Mourinho understands how this competition works and is aware that it’s not important to fight for a win in the return leg when the first leg ended in his favour. Sevilla have more experience in the Europa League than any team. Juventus may have a better squad than the LaLiga side, but Sevilla know how to kill the big dogs in this competition. They played a 1-1 draw in Italy last week and are aware a win at home tonight is enough to see them through, hence I’ve backed them to avoid a defeat at home.
