Shrewsbury secured their place in League One following their promotion campaign and with the pressure now off, I’m expecting their goal-heavy games to continue when they travel to Swindon on Sunday.

Salop’s last 11 outings have featured 43 goals at an average of 3.91 goals-per-game – all 11 banked in the Both Teams To Score market with nine fixtures producing three or more goals.

Playing away hasn’t hampered the Shrews, either. In fact, Micky Mellon’s men have thrived when taking to the road, scoring in all bar five of their 22 away trips and notching two or more goals on nine occasions. Sadly for them, they’ve only kept their sheets clean on four occasions.

A huge 15/22 of Shrewsbury’s away days have delivered winning BTTS bets and 13/22 have breached the Over 2.5 Goals line so I’m interested in combining the two with Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score available to support at 1.83 here.

Swindon, like their guests, have little to play for bar pride but that could lead us towards an entertaining encounter between two teams that prefer to play front-foot football.

The Robins are expecting midfield mystros Yaser Kasim back for their final game of the season and having scored in all bar four of their Country Ground games – netting twice or more in 11/22 home outings – and keeping only two clean sheets as hosts, goals should certainly be expected.

For the record, Swindon have seen 16/22 of their home encounters feature goals for both sides with 15/22 breaking the Over 2.5 Goals barrier too.
