Italian managers Francesco Guidolin and Antonio Conte have made contrasting starts to their first full season in the Premier League. Swansea look like they could be in a relegation battle this year and look out of ideas whilst Chelsea will feel they are serious title contenders having a 100% record so far this campaign.

Hiring former Udinese manager Guidolin looked like a sound move by the Swans this summer after he did so well with them towards the back-end of last season. However, this time around everything looks a bit out of sync with baffling decisions being made by the manager. Putting Icelander Gylfi Sigurdsson on the bench, a man who can create something from nothing, is a prime example. I think there could be major trouble for the Swans this season if they do not get their act together quickly.

Goals are the problem for Swansea and they are currently the league’s joint-lowest goalscorers with two. Fernando Llorente is also yet to prove that he is a good Premier League striker and I am not sure they have many other options in the forward areas.

Conte has come in and made an excellent start to his season and has turned Chelsea from the shambles they were last season into a resolute looking unit. Although the deadline day signing of David Luiz seems baffling, if Conte cannot teach him to defend then nobody can.

However, probably his best move this summer was getting Belgian international Eden Hazard back onside after his incredibly poor season last year. The 25-year-old finally looks back to being the player that won the PFA Player of the Year award at the end of 2014/15.

You cannot look beyond Chelsea for this match and I would imagine the will score a few goals against Swansea with their firepower. Furthermore, even though the Swans are at home, I cannot see them causing this Blues defence any problems whatsoever.

The safest bet here is ‘Chelsea to Win & Over 2.5 Goals’ at 6/4 which allows for a flukey Swansea goal. If you fancy something a bit tastier then backing Chelsea themselves to score Over 2.5 goals at 19/8. Conte’s forward line looks fantastic and will likely blow the Swans out the water on Sunday.
