Athletic Bilbao are in good shape. In the last two games, the Basques won with a total score of 7:1. Raul Garcia’s return has increased the team’s attacking potential, and Aduriz continues to score a lot. So, Athletic are favourites.
But Sporting Gijon are in dire need of points – the team has fallen into the 19th place. But they score a lot for an outsider. They have constant problems in their defence after losing key centre defender Bernardo till the end of the season. Therefore, I’m picking the exchange of goals here. BTTS played in five of the last six matches of Sporting. At home, the Asturians have to attack more to get out of the relegation zone.
