Slovakia faced with a difficult opposition

It hasn’t been a good start for Slovakia in the Group H matches after being odds on favorites in their first two matches but still drew with Cyprus and Malta. Moreover, coach Stefan Tarkovic’s men had to come back after going 2-0 down in the first 29 minutes in their match against Malta.

Their defensive form must be a concern for Cherchesov as they have conceded ten goals in four matches. On the front side, the Russians are relying on Artem Dzyuba who scored three times in the last two matches.

Slovakia will have to take initiative and attack to find a win as they have just two points from two games in the group. The Russians on the other hand will be left with spaces to break and create chances.
