Sara Errani vs Madison Brengle. Anna Chakvetadze’s prediction
In this match, the favourite is Sara Errani, but I do not think that this time it will be as easy for her as against Yaroslava Shvedova yesterday. Tennis of Shvedova is comfortable for Errani. Madison Brengle plays fairly softly, almost like Errani. Last year, the women played in the Canadian tournament, the Italian needed all three sets to win.
Brengle tries to drag all the balls, tries to play safely, makes few mistakes, few surprises for opponents. Sara Errani plays the same. Both rivals are waiting for an error. The difference is that Errani still plays more twisted balls. Errani needs to play clean to win. I’m not sure she can do it right now. I guess there will be a struggle in this match – the pick is over 20.5 games.
