We predict the Netherlands to win 3-1. Romania has been inconsistent since, the same can be said of the Dutchmen. However, despite the Netherlands losing their last game in the group stage against Austria, the Dutch side remains a huge threat to any team, let alone Romania in the Round of 16. The Dutch side have scored four goals in their last three matches at the Euros. We think they have better chances of defeating the Romanians.
Romania started the tournament with a 3-0 victory against Ukraine, but somewhere along the line, they lost to Belgium on matchday 2 followed by a 1-1 draw against Slovakia. We predict Romania to score at least one goal against the Netherlands.

Romania have scored four goals in their last three matches at the Euros and conceded three goals in the process. Their last game in the group stage ended in a 1-1 draw as Razvan Marin scored a penalty for his side. However, they have to work on their defense as they prepare to face the Netherlands.
The Netherlands will aim to bounce back to winning against Romania after losing 2-3 to Austria in their last group-stage game. With the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Nathan Ake at the backline, it would be a difficult game for the Romanians at the Allianz Arena.
