With just one defeat this season in an away game in Monchengladbach back in October,Leipzig look a very stable side coming into this game.Although they lost crucial points in Koln before the Christmas short break,Manager Julian Nagelsmann’s team bounced back and beat Stuttgart in a tough away game last week and were able to keep the pressure on league leaders Bayern Munich who travel to Monchengladbach in a match where the Leipzigers will wish for Bayern the same fate as they had.It is important to note Leipzig’s vigilant defence who have conceded just 9 goals in the League so far this season, the least in the league.

Dortmund

With Erling Haaland back from injury,Dortmund are a different team offensively.With ten goals already this season Haaland will be a big threat to Leipzig’s tough defence.Dortmund have been unstable in their last five matches but a 2-0 win in their last match against Wolfsburg will make manager Edin Terzic a more optimistic man going into this match.The eight time Bundesliga champions are always playing to be title contenders and they have a big test to show that against Leipzig.
