Real Sociedad – Getafe. Alexander Vishnevskiy’s prediction
Getafe are rolling downhill. Their football is becoming much like their stadium – dull and always empty. In the last 13 matches the team from the Madrid suburbs have taken only 2 points and as a result have dropped right to the foot of the table. If a miracle does not happen soon, their chances of La Liga survival will be nil.
On the other hand, Real Sociedad are in good condition, despite a series of injuries. Having said this, all these missing players have long been absent, and the San Sebastian team has learned to do without them. With the same composition the Basques beat the current holders of both European cups – Barcelona and Sevilla. However, in their last match Sociedad lost 1:2 away at Eibar. It was a painful blow for their ego, as Eibar is a modest town in the province of Guipuzcoa, whose capital is San Sebastián. So, Real Sociedad need to redeem themselves, and a home game against the worst team in the league is the perfect opportunity to do so.
