Real Betis have the chance to pick up back to back home wins for the first time this season. They’ve been extremely bad at home for some time, but now they’re starting to improve the situation at Benito Villamarin. They’re unbeaten in their last two games and are now showing much better form. With this in mind, I think that they’ve got a good chance of defeating Las Palmas. The hosts are priced at 2.15 by bookmakers, which is pretty decent.
Las Palmas have well and truly punched above their weight during the last month, as they’ve managed three wins in a row, followed by a draw against Sporting Gijon. That draw marked a few problems for Quique Setien’s team who failed to hold a winning score at home. They now have some injury blows too. Javi Castellano is out for the rest of the season while Mubarak Wakaso is also doubt for today’s game.
Real Betis’ strikers are always capable of being dangerous and it will be a tough task for Las Palmas to stop Ruben Castro and Jorge Molina here.
