Rayo Vallecano – Real Madrid. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
Although it is not the biggest or most attractive in the city, this game is still very much a local derby. We remember the previous match between these two, when Real Madrid won 10:2, but there were some very strange refereeing decisions in that one to say the least. Rayo will certainly try to cause problems for Zinedine Zidane’s team, although it’s hard to see them succeeding. Having said this, I’m not sure Madrid will crush their opponents here and I wouldn’t be too hopeful of 12 goal game like last time!
It was confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the upcoming game due to minor injury. And we don’t know if Gareth Bale is enough fit to play.
Rayo Vallecano are an attacking side who can score goals, and I think they will avoid humiliation here. Real Madrid can win having scored only one or two goals more than their opponent. Rayo are on fire now and playing in this derby in front of their own fans will give them more than enough motivation. The bet to go for is Rayo +2 goals.
