Celta Vigo were good at the first half of the season but in 2016, their results went down. They gained some points only in the last game against Levante – first points of their last four games.
But Rayo Vallecano were bad and remain the same now. Their last win was ten games back. They are the first candidate to relegate from La Liga.
Both teams will have strong motivation in this game. Rayo will try to secure a place in Primera and Celta will defend their positions at the top. Maybe the team from Vigo will try to obtain the Champions league spot. So there is parity in motivation for both, but the possibilities are unequal. Celta Vigo are a better side. They defeated Rayo previously this season. So Celta will not lose for sure!
