Rafael Nadal
Watching Rafael play at the Australian Open, Nadal has problems with one impression. In the course of the meeting with Shapovalov, after two sets won, his attention was somewhat hooked, and he began to make more unforced errors. As it turned out, the Spaniard had a heat stroke. Unexpected declines with Rafa occurred even in the match against Karen Khachanov and Matteo Berrettini. For some reason, this happened precisely in the third set.

Rafael could become the fourth tennis player in history to win each Grand Slams at least twice in his professional career. Before that, it was possible for Rod Laver, Ivan Lendl, Novak Djokovic. Will Rafa be able to achieve this? The question, of course, is incredibly curious, the answer to which we will receive on Sunday. But the 21st helmet is an equally important goal.

Daniil Medvedev
Daniil won his first title at the last major, held in New York. He managed to beat Novak Djokovic in three sets, stopping the Serb on the way for the 21st Grand Slam. Now the situation is almost the same. The next major and Danya are in it in the final, and Nadal, who is going for his 21st career Grand Slam, will face him.

On the way to the final Australian Open, Medvedev beat Henri Laaksonen, Nick Kyrgios, Botik Van de Zandshulp, Maxim Cressy, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Stefanos Tsitsipas. In the match with the Canadian, he even won back the match point, making it through the pitch. The Russian plays very variably, using the entire width of the court. He forces his opponents to come forward and then dribbles around his opponents very well.

History of personal meetings
Among themselves, tennis players met four times. Three wins on account of Nadal and once defeated Medvedev. It was the Russian who won the last personal meeting.

Betting on outcomes
The victory of Rafael Nadal is at 2.63, and the triumph of Daniil Medvedev – at 1.5.

Predictions and betting
The task of the Spaniard is to try to shorten the draws. It is important who will succeed in long-drawn-out draws, that is, who will outplay whom on the backline. Potentially, of course, it seems that Dani has a better chance, but there were warning signs in his game in the semi-finals in the second set when the Russian could not cope with his emotions. In the third set, if Tsitsipas had realized a double breakpoint, the situation on the court could have turned completely and thoroughly. Still, Medvedev nevertheless managed to cope with his emotions in the future. These are exactly the things that the Spaniard should try to cling to; You need to do the maximum to bring your opponent off balance since otherwise, it will be challenging to count on success.

My sympathies are on the side of Nadal. It is possible to set several records and win one of my favorite tournaments here. Medvedev will be determined to prevent this, but his emotions in the game with Tsitsipas showed that he was vulnerable. It is clear that there is no guarantee that Nadal will be able to take advantage of all this, but, given the quotes, I will allow myself to take a chance and take the victory of the Spanish tennis player.
