Novak Djokovic vs Roger Federer. Anna Chakvetadze’s prediction
Battle of the titans. What else is there to say? The favourite is Novak Djokovic. No doubt about it. Roger beat Novak last season a few times, but it was all in three-set matches. But for several years Federer has failed to beat Djokovic in Grand Slam, although they meet regularly.
It’s hard to say anything about Djokovic’s form. First, he plays five sets with Simon, then easily beats Nishikori. The Japanese actively helped Novak, made an incredible number of mistakes. What will Djokovic shown in the semifinals, we can only guess. With Federer, everything is easier. It is evident that during the tournament, he’s only made progress. But I doubt that he will be able to reach the final. I think Djokovic will not give out more than set. Novak was a little nervous in the quarterfinals, but at the same kept the concentration. In the semi-finals he will play at maximum, will not make gifts. Roger will not sustain those speeds that Djokovic will offers. At first, Federer will stand, but then still the Swiss will begin making more and more mistakes, and Novak will get what the wants.
I think that Roger will still get a set. Therefore, we can consider “Novak Djokovic to win more than 21.5 games” market.
