Norwich – Manchester United. Laure James’ prediction
Norwich have only won two of their last 15 league games, losing 11 of them, and they’ve lost their last three. These are pretty worrying figures for the canaries, although perhaps more worrying, especially since they need something in order to stay up, is their apparent lack of goals at the moment. It is now more than 270 minutes since Norwich found the net, and failure to score in this game could be enough to send them back to the Championship.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has said he’ll probably rotate, complaining of fixture ‘overload’, but I suspect they’ll still have an edge over the Canaries, who’re are still without Timm Klose and Alex Tettey, while Marouane Fellaini is suspended for the visitors.
An away win isn’t throwing up fantastic odds, but, given that Norwich are struggling for goals of late coupled with the fact that United haven’t exactly seen loads of goals on their travels this season, I don’t think this will be a high scoring affair, so I’m going for Under 1.5 Goals at very nice odds of 3.50 with William Hill.
