Marin Cilic vs Gilles Simon. Anna Chakvetadze’s prediction
I like Gilles Simon’s game more. He has a 4-1 advantage in the personal meetings. But in the last meeting the Croatian won en route to his victory at the US Open in 2014. And it seems to me that Cilic will win tonight, too. Simon is not in the best shape. He easily lost to Zverev at the last tournament. Here, he beat Juan Monaco, but it would be very strange if he lost to him, too. Cilic looked well at Indian Wells, but lost to Goffin in the quarter-finals. But the Belgian is now incredibly good. In the current state, in my opinion, Simon will not be able to beat the Croat. I bet that Marin Cilic will win. He will use his power, serve and forehand to beat the Frenchman.
