Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur: Predictions and Betting Tips

Manchester City:

Manchester City keeps winning.  Fifteen victories in a row, new records and brilliant reliability of the main defense group led by Ederson.  City is already five points ahead of their neighbors (plus a game in reserve).  It’s amazing how even a month and a half ago it was impossible to think of such a thing when Liverpool were at the top of the table.  And now Liverpool is defeated 4:1, and Man United is steadily losing points.  It remains for Pep to just take what the rivals themselves give him.

Tottenham:

Tottenham is now in a deep hole.  In the last FA Cup match, Everton delivered five goals to the Spurs. And the Londoners have only one victory in their last five games in all competitions.  I don’t know how Mourinho is going to take points, but remember the match at Etihad last season.  At Etihad, City simply destroyed Pochettino’s Tottenham, but the teams drew (2:2).  Spurs know how to score points in spite of.  And the “citizens” can be called a convenient rival for the current “lilywhites”.

Outcome betting:

Some terrible 1.36 to win for Manchester City.  Bookmakers do not believe in Tottenham at all, which is odd, after Spurs’ two successive victories in personal meetings.  Lilywhites are far from outsiders and can impose a fight on anyone, including City.

Total bets:

Tottenham have lost only three games out of nineteen away (in regulation time).  In eight out of ten, they also played “both will score”.  At the same time, the opponent in the same number of games could not distinguish himself more than once (both at home and away).

So, we bet on a double chance for Tottenham on William Hill with the odds of 3.25.

Then, we’ll take Manchester City’s Individual Total over 2.5 with the odds of 1.96.  The townspeople do not always score a lot, and it is very convenient for Tottenham to play against such an opponent.

Spurs will stand in their own penalty area and will catch Manchester City on counterattacks, which Mourinho has done well twice already.  Citizens are stronger now, but Tottenham can ruin the Citizens’ streak.  The Portuguese manager can do it.
