The Citizens are 5th in the league table with 29 points and a win can see them challenging for the top 2 spots and with a game in hand over the other top five teams,they are in a very good position.Brighton on the other hand are struggling lately and are winless in their last 8 matches.They are 17th with 14 points just 3 points off relegation zone.

Manchester City

Pep Guardiola is a very happy man for sure with the latest results of his team.They beat Manchester United in the local derby in the EFL cup and qualified for the final.They are playing very well and had very convincing victories over Southampton and Chelsea, both away.The Citizens have scored in all of their last 6 matches,13 goals in total.If they win this match and with a match in hand they will be serious title contenders.

Brighton

Brighton and Hove Albion are having a tough season so far.Just 2 wins in 17 games saw Graham Potter’s team fight for survival in the Premier League.Their last win was an away win at Aston Villa 8 matches ago.It is unlikely that they can repeat that result against a strong City side who haven’t lost to Brighton in any of their previous encounters.
