Liverpool to score over 2.5 goals

Liverpool have scored over 2.5 goals in three of their last five matches. These have come against Norwich City, Crystal Palace, and Brentford all of which are struggling for form just like Leeds United.

The Reds will show no mercy against the Whites now that Manchester City slipped up at the weekend and knowing goal difference might have a chance of deciding the title.

Preliminary review and match prediction for Liverpool vs Leeds United

With five league wins in a row, Liverpool have put behind them a bad Christmas period where they appeared to have all but lost the title race.

However, with Man City losing to Spurs on Saturday night, a win here for the Reds will put them just three points behind the leaders with both having played 26 matches.

In a title race that now has the possibility to go down to the wire, and with both sides posting similar goal differences, top scorers Liverpool will see this an ideal opportunity to boost their goal difference. Leeds have conceded three or more goals in six of their last nine league matches. Liverpool to score over 3.5 goals in the match is priced at 2.3.

Fifteenth placed Leeds are really struggling at the moment and out of the sides around them they arguably have the toughest run of fixtures coming up.
