Liverpool – Chelsea – Thomas Giles prediction
Liverpool fans have been buoyed by Jurgen Klopp and their side’s dramatic run to the Europa League final. In the last couple of games, the German has opted for a more youthful side but tonight you can expect him to revert to full strength in what is a big game for a guaranteed European spot next season.
Liverpool’s strength is going forward and Daniel Sturridge, having been criticised by Klopp earlier in the season, is now firing on all cylinders and would love to score against his former club.
Chelsea will be without captain and club legend John Terry as well as numerous other key players so expect an unfamiliar team. Their defence will struggle without the leadership that Terry provides so I think Liverpool will take full advantage and win convincingly at Anfield for the last time this season.
