Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur: Prediction and Betting Tips
The Foxes battling for a top-four spot
Winning the FA Cup last weekend was the highlight of the season for the Foxes. It was a great reward for a very good season for Brendan Rodgers’ team. Leicester would have preferred to finish in top-four and play in the Champions League next year. The Foxes conceded their fourth position to Liverpool in midweek after losing their penultimate game to Chelsea. Now they have an outside chance of regaining it by beating Tottenham and expecting Liverpool to lose.
Leicester picked up seven points from their last five matches. But it was more like eight points lost for Brendan Rogers as his team couldn’t hold on to a top-four spot. Their defeat to Chelsea on Tuesday was their second in three matches. Jamie Vardy and his teammates have been on good scoring form as they found the back of the net 11 times in six games. Leicester have scored at least a goal in all of their last seven matches.
Tottenham to avoid finishing the season empty-handed
The Spurs have a similar record to that of their Opponents in terms of form. In the last six matches, they won three, drew one, and lost two. At one stage of the season, Tottenham were leading the Premier League. Now they are battling for a top-six finish. They lost the EFL cup final to Manchester City and have an interim coach Ryan Mason after sacking Jose Mourinho.
The Spurs are in danger of missing out on European competitions next season. Everton and Arsenal are hoping the Lilywhites will slip up in their last match to snatch the seventh position off them. Tottenham have been unstable in their recent games. That hasn’t helped the North Londoners to maintain their position in the top four and now face a difficult task as they travel to Leicester who are also battling for a top-four spot.

Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction
This match is like a cup final. Both teams have ambitions to finish in a better position than they are now in. Leicester are chasing a Champions League spot and have to win and wait for the Liverpool result. In worst cases, The Foxes will play in the Europa League.
Meanwhile, if Tottenham lose they can drop back to eighth or ninth and miss out on everything, while a win and a West Ham loss can see them play in the Europa League.
We may see two different scenarios in this game. The first one is that both managers will play very cautiously and not deploy too many players forward and rely on an opponent’s mistake and take advantage. The second one is that we witness an open game as both teams try to take the lead early in the game and defend it.
In both cases, we think we are in for a great climax to the season between two very exciting teams in the Premier League.
With so many goal-scoring-hungry players on the show like Vardy, Kane, Son, Iheanacho, and Maddisonw e will back both teams to score for our first prediction.
As for our second prediction, we back a low-scoring game if the managers decide to have a defensive tactical approach.
