Leicester City v Swansea City Betting Tip
About 12 months ago, these two clubs were thought to be on a relatively level playing field with perhaps Swansea being the slightly superior side. However, after their title win last season, there is no doubt the Foxes are now miles ahead of the Swans.
Leicester have not made the best start to their title defence, picking up just a single point. They were shocked in their first round defeat at Hull City but managed to recover to secure a respectable 0-0 draw at home to Arsenal.
Claudio Ranieri’s side learnt the opposition in their maiden Champions League campaign this season and will feel confident of qualifying from Group G which also contains Porto, Club Brugge and Copenhagen.
This match against Swansea is a great chance for the Foxes to get their first win of the season.
Francesco Guidolin’s Swansea side have had a mixed start to the season with one win and one defeat. Their new striker Fernando Llorente has not exactly hit the ground running and looks like he could take a while to adjust to the Premier League.
An interesting story raised by this match is that it sees Nathan Dyer potentially playing against the club who he won the title with on loan last season.
I am not convinced by Swansea this season and think they could struggle. I can only see a Leicester win at the King Power on Saturday and it should be a relatively straightforward one. The hosts to win to nil at 17/10 is well worth a bet.
