I think it’s a key match for Gary Neville. If he ends Copa del Rey campaign he can be fired before the end of the season. Valencia need a win in the next home game against Sporting Gijon in Primera and it can be a key match for Neville too. But now the team is looking quite unpresentable. They should pull themselves up to succeed in the Cup. They lost the chance to reach the Champions league spot and even the Europa league stop. So Copa del Rey becomes the only tournament they can show themselves in. It will be hard for them to play without Paco Alcacer, bit there’s no choice.
I don’t know what tactics Gary Neville will pick for this game. I guess he doesn’t know either. I suggest to go for Valencia’s goal in the second half. They need to score and Las Palmas will just defend. Even if Las Palmas score in the first half, they’ll park the bus. And Valencia will go forward with all their forces.
