Jeffrey John Wolf – Stefanos Tsitsipas: Predictions, Odds & Betting Tips, 23/02/22
Stefanos Tsitsipas had a tough first match against Laszlo Djere, who doesn’t really like to play hard and generally prefers clay. The Greek tennis player had to play two tie-breaks. Physically Tsitsipas is now hard. He just flew in from Europe, where he performed in the halls—lost to Safiullin in Marseille last week. It takes time to get used to the open hard, also in a different time zone. I’m not sure one match was enough.
Play Tsitsipas with the Americans Wolf, who is quite suitable for the conditions in Mexico. In qualifying, he defeated two veterans – Anderson and Seppi, and in the first round, he beat Sonego. This victory can already be called very well, even if the Italian just arrived from clay, but the time zone practically did not have to be changed. Maybe Wolf serves well; keep his serve.
Therefore, I will assume that he will keep the handicap (+4.5) of the game. Tsitsipas is unlikely to play perfectly, and acclimatization can get in the way.
