Granada – Barcelona. Valeri Karpin’s prediction
Barcelona will once again be crowned as champions of La Liga in case of today’s victory, and I’m sure they will be. They faced a tough period a while back where they lost three games in a row; however, since this blip they’ve picked themselves up and have been in fine form. Barcelona won their four last games scoring 21 and conceding 0. Going into the final day Barcelona are very much the favourites to lift the title. All in all, it’s fair to say that Granada have zero chances here.
The positive thing for Granada is that they are already safe. This means they can play with more freedom perhaps and enjoy the occasion. With this in mind, and given the fact Barcelona often leave space in behind, I think that it’s time for the visitors to concede at last. Granada know how to score against the Catalans at home, they’ve managed in each of the last three meetings at Nuevo Los Carmenes.
