Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics meet in San Francisco, and at this point in the season, two of the biggest teams of recent editions are living completely different realities.

Golden State Warriors

Although they are in a brief moment of ascension, the Golden State Warriors are having a very bad campaign, full of ups and downs, with collective problems.

Stephen Curry’s team only appears in 11th place in the Western Conference, with a campaign of 12 wins and 14 losses.

As said, it comes at a positive moment, although still very short, connecting 2 consecutive victories.

They had difficulties, when at home they beat the Brooklyn Nets 124 to 120, and in the last match, on the road they beat the Portland Trail Blazers, also with a very narrow margin in their victory.

The score was 118 to 114 for Golden State, which once again had problems meeting the lines imposed by the bookmakers.

Klay Thompson was their main player with 28 points, followed by Andrew Wiggins, with 25.

Something absolutely out of the ordinary happened, which was the terrible performance of Stephen Curry, who scored a measly 7 points in 31 minutes on the court.

After almost 270 consecutive games scoring at least one triple ball, Golden State’s number 30 ended up going blank.

They are a dynamic team, they prioritize long-distance balls, but they are hostage to them.

We always have to take into account that it could be a team that, when everything goes right in this game model, can win with ease. But when your aim is not good, you have enormous difficulties.

The team continues without being able to count on Draymond Green and this ends up hurting them defensively.

Therefore, choosing handicap lines in their favor ends up being very dangerous.

For tonight’s clash against the Boston Celtics, the team still doesn’t know if it will be able to count on Chris Paul, but the rest of its starting five will be present.

Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are living up to their favoritism in the Eastern Conference, and today lead with a campaign of 20 wins and just 5 losses.

Jayson Tatum’s team has won 5 in a row, the last 3 at home, against the Cleveland Cavaliers and twice against the Orlando Magic.

The last time they took the court they beat the Orlando team, 114 to 97.

Its main highlight was Jaylen Brown, with 31 points. It is a team that manages to impose a great defensive game and even has the second best efficiency in the league with an average of 109.2 points conceded per game.

Playing away from TD Garden, however, Boston is coming off 3 straight defeats, suffering high scores, to the Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers.

I don’t believe it will be a standard until the end of the season, but it is undeniably playing away from home where the team ends up having some difficulties.

For this clash against Golden State, it seems that they will have their starting five on the court.

Kristaps Porzingis has not yet been confirmed, but will likely be present.

Conclusion:

This imbalance in Golden State certainly does not make this team a good betting option, and my choice will be on the points line, understanding that both teams can contribute to the same.
