German Masters: Semifinals. Vladimir Sinitsin’s prediction
Players from Top-16 had left the tournament too quickly, so none of them are in semifinals. The same thing happened in Australia in 2012, but there were not so many top players. German Masters had them all, but they all lost.
So who defeated them? Graeme Dott is the most titled of them. He was once a world champion. Kyren Wilson won in Shanghai. Luca Brecel can surely live up to all the advanced billings during the past six years. This year Martin Gould was in the final in Australia and lost to John Higgins in the last frame. The motivation is extremely high for all four players remaining. I suggest that one of the pairs, Dott-Gould will win the tournament. Graeme Dott is given 3.75 to win and Martin Gould is given 3.50. We can put bets on both of them and get a profit. But I can’t be sure about that.
All I can say, that all players will fight till the end. Motivation is too high. Wilson made a lot of comebacks and won some games with a score 5:4. Gould and Dott also have killer instincts. And Brecel will definitely catch the opportunity to get the big title. The win here will open a way to Top-16. So I suggest to bet on over 9.5 frames in each semifinal (they are played till six wins). The score 6:4 or 6:5 are likely to be in both games.
