FC Copenhagen v Astra Giurgiu Betting Tip

The first leg of this match finished in a 1-1 draw in Giurgiu which of course means FC Copenhagen managed to secure a vital away goal and will be looking to put their Romanian opponents to the sword in this second leg.

The Danish side have been in supreme form in recent months. They ran away with the 2015/16 Danish Superliga, finishing nine points ahead of second place SønderjyskE and have carried on that excellent run into the new 2016/17 season. With three games gone they have secured maximum points, scoring 11 goals and conceding 0 in the process. In their last three domestic matches they have scored no fewer than three goals in each, proving their goal-scoring prowess.

On the other hand, Astra have started their title defence in a rather unconvincing fashion, and have so far failed to win in either of their first two matches, picking up just a solitary point along the way.

Copenhagen are the clear favourites here with the home advantage and recent form statistics. However, as expected there is no value in the straight victory.

I fully expect Ståle Solbakken’s side to make mincemeat out of Astra and they should pull off a convincing victory to carry on their terrific form.

Firstly I would go with over 2.5 goals for Copenhagen at 2/1 (William Hill) whilst you could also go with the Danes to win by 3 or more goals at 11/4 (Betfair) and take advantage of the goal fests the Danish champions are currently experiencing.
