One of Sunday’s four La Liga matches sees Europa League chasing Eibar play host to relegation scrappers Leganés at the now iconic Ipurua.

As they’re now without a win in three, Eibar’s tilt at European football seems to be dwindling, but they will certainly fancy their chances of getting things back on track here against a visiting team who’re down in 17th position. On the other hand, Leganés come into this match off the back of a pleasing win last time out and will be looking to take advantage of their host’s dip in form.

From a betting point of view, the selection that stands out is ‘Both Teams to Score’. With each of this pair looking a bit suspect at the back of late, but also capable of offering an attacking threat, goals at both ends could be on the cards here.

As far as home form goes, Eibar have acquitted themselves pretty well at Ipurua this season, especially from an attacking point of view. With 27 goals to their name, failing to score on just four occasions, the hosts have managed to hurt almost any side who’ve paid them a visit during this campaign. However, as a result of their attacking philosophy, the basque side haven’t been too impressive when it comes to keeping teams out of late and have kept just one clean sheet in their last five at home.

Since they’re a team who reside towards the foot of the table, it doesn’t take much to work out that Leganés aren’t the surest at the back, although they’ve certainly added a bit more vigour going forward over the last month or so and should be buoyed by their 3-0 win last time out. Asier Garitano’s men have kept just two clean sheets in 17 attempts on the road this season and are expected to concede at least once against an Eibar side who place most of their focus on getting forward when at home. Having said that, the visitors are currently six points above the drop thanks to the fact that they’ve been scoring a few more goals. Leganés have scored at least once in five of their last six and in each of their last four on the road.

With this pair both needing something in order to stay on track with their objectives, we should see two teams having a bit of a go at each other and so, with this in mind, it’s hard not to fancy at least a single goal from both on Sunday afternoon.
