Deportivo La Coruna – Real Madrid. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
It’s a bit risky, I like the look of a Deportivo goal in this one, particularly in the 2nd half. If Barcelona lead by a couple of goals in Granada, Real Madrid will be demotivated and could easily lose their discipline. They will definitely be informed about their rivals’ match. Of course, they are fighting for the 2nd place with Atletico Madrid, but the info about Barcelona getting the title can certainly deflate them.
Deportivo La Coruna are facing Zidane’s men at home, and, as the pressure is off, they will want to enjoy the occasion and give their fans something to cheer. We are to remember that Real Madrid don’t like to vizit Galicia. They’ve failed to win there in a number of times over the years. Deportivo’s Lucas Perez Martinez could be a big threat today, especially if Madrid leave space in behind. The striker is having a good season and will surely want to add another goal to his already impressive tally.
We should see how things will be going in Granada-Barcelona game. But before that I think Deportivo to score in the 2nd half at 2.20 is a good bet. Realistically Real know that they are unlikely to win the league today, so their main focus will be on the upcoming Champions League final.
