Something strange is happening with the Catalan giants at the moment, and after failing to take maximum points from any of their last four La Liga matches, they certainly can’t afford to do anything other than win tonight. If Barcelona were to fail in coming away victorious this evening, then one if not both of the two Madrid clubs would gain the upper-hand in the title race.
A difficult match awaits the Catalans in La Coruna. Deportivo have got nothing to fight for, but beating Barcelona is always prestigious. Especially when they are like a wounded beast, who could resist finishing them off?
I think that Barcelona’s class should bring them through and this really ought to be their first win in 5 league matches. However, the home team will give them a difficult time and will be able to score.
