David Goffen vs Milos Raonic. Anna Chakvetadze’s prediction
There will be no surprises from David Goffen any more here. He defeated Marin Cilic just because of the Croatian’s mistakes. Cilic had problems with his left-hand shot and it became Goffen’s advantage.
Milos Raonic wouldn’t make as many faults as Cilic. He likes forehands, but he also can use backhands and power shots. And don’t forget his excellent serve and net approaches. So I don’t know if Goffen can offer something to his opponent. Goffen’s serve is not so powerful and his number of double faults is high. And Raonic improved a lot with serve returns.
It’s hard to stop Milos Raonic when he’s at his best. We saw that at the Australian Open. So I think that David Goffen is unlikely to win any set here. The Canadian is able to win by two sets and make it to the final.
