Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have issues at the QB position with injuries to starter Deshaun Watson and backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Therefore, Joe Flacco will play in this game – who was just average when he was on the field. He will have a running game with RB Jerome Ford and RB Kareem Hunt will also help. Plus, they have good WRs too like Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones and Elijah Moore. I believe this attack can be very interesting for this game with fluidity and focus on the running game.

The defense has great names and promises to also improve in the LB line where they had problems last season. The defensive line has Myles Garrett, who is one of the best in the League and Zadarius Smith, who should be a great addition. In the secondary they have names like Denzel Ward and Juan Thornhill, who should be very useful.

Chicago Bears

The Bears’ main offensive question is how QB Tyson Bagent will carry this team; The starter is injured and gives way to the rookie to guide the team. In fact, this issue is not just about Fields and also concerns the Bears’ offensive coordinator, Luke Getsy. It’s about how well Getsy prepares and what is put in place around Bagent. To help him, the team has good WRs in DJ Moore and Darnell Mooney, but the latter needs to stay healthy. The running game will have RB D’onta Foreman as the starter.

The defense had a large investment made by the board with the acquisition of LB Tremaine Edmunds and DEs DeMarcus Walker and Yannick Ngakoue. With this, I believe that the unit will be more aggressive with blitzes and fundamentally faster with very interesting LBs in the middle.

Conclusion:

The Browns finally appear to have resolved their QB situation with Joe Flacco but their ground game is suffering and their offensive line has been decimated by injuries. The Bears are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games and since Week 5, they rank sixth in the league in defensive expectation points while ranking second in offensive EPA. Meanwhile, Cleveland’s defense has regressed, allowing at least 29 points in four of the last five games.

I like the Bears’ defense in this game, while Cleveland’s offense should continue to have some problems, especially on offense. The Browns’ defense should also dominate Chicago’s attack with a great unit. I’m going with under points as the best bet in the match.
