It has been a very exciting season so far in the Premier League.Just 5 points divides league leaders Liverpool with 28 pts from 5th positioned Everton who have 23 .Chelsea are 7th  with 22  and West Ham  8th with 21.So clearly any win by these teams and they could go into top 5.Of course Chelsea were 3rd at one time but losing two games in a row saw Lampard’s team fall behind.It’s a very close race between all top 6-7 teams and that’s what makes the PL one of the most watched and followed leagues in the world.

After losing to Wolves at Molineux stadium, Chelsea will be looking to bounce back and get a win after 2 defeats.They have the chance to do that against West Ham United in the London derby Monday night at Stamford Bridge.The Blues will have to overcome the fact that they beat the Hammers just once in the last six games.Lampard must work on his team’s morale as they need to boost it as soon as possible to avoid losing ground with the top 5 before it’s too late,

As manager David Mo Moyes pointed out lately his team is improving fast and they will have more to show in the coming rounds.The Hammers won this fixture last season but are they strong enough to sustain the Chelsea pressure who are eager to win this match?
