Atletico Madrid – Eibar. Konstantin Genich’s prediction

Atletico Madrid lost to Barcelona in their last game but showed good character. Now they have a lot of players missing in the upcoming match. Diego Godin and Luis Filipe are suspended and Stefan Savic is injured. So Diego Simeone would be making some changes in defence. But anyway Atletico are the obvious favourite even with the fact that Eibar are a tough side to play against. Atletico had a lot of problems against Eibar in their game previously this season. Simeone’s team got three points just with the help of subs in the second half. Now they can’t afford to lose points because Real Madrid are just one point behind. All attacking players on the Madrid side are fit except Jackson Martines who was sold to China.

Atletico Madrid are simply a better side. They need to win after the losses against Celta Vigo and Barcelona. I suggest to go for Atletico’s win with total match goals over 1.5. Eibar can score because the defensive line of Los Colchoneros is not ideal. But Atletico should score more than Eibar anyway. They have Antoine Griezmann and some other good finishers who can score more than one goal. You can also go for Atletico Madrid win and over 2.5 goals here. But I think the score is likely to be 2:0.
