Angelique Kerber vs Victoria Azarenka. Anna Chakvetadze’s prediction
Victoria Azarenka, of course, is in great shape. She won the tournament in Indian Wells, in Miami she beats everybody in two sets. But Angelique Kerber is in great condition, too, having beaten Madison Keys in the quarterfinals in two sets. I have already said that conditions in Miami are perfect for her. And given that Kerber has again gained the confidence, she can be very dangerous.
The only defeat Victoria Azarenka this season was from Kerber at the Australian Open. Then, it was a real sensation. But after that, Kerber won the tournament. She is a fighter, never gives up. And I think, that after defeating Victoria, she will be able to compete with her again, at least. Anything can be in the game – two tight sets, or even three. But I don’t believe in Azarenka’s easy win. Therefore, I believe that the match will see over 19.5 games.
