1/4 African Cup Finals – Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips 29/01/2022

Let’s get to the real thing and talk about the African Cup again.

This tournament should not be taken so seriously.  A lot of surprises, a lot that was not expected. It’s good that we had a long-term express for group winners, but at the same time, it was unexpected to see such an Algerian team. Being considered as one of the strongest teams on the continent, they talentless-ly spent the three matches and deservedly flew out. Nigeria disappointed us in the 1/8 finals. Don’t take the African Cup too seriously. It’s not very easy to watch matches in this league – a lot of fouls, low speeds, removals, and few goals.

As for the matches of the 1/4 finals, those tips are just for fun.

Burkina Faso vs Tunisia

Tunisia is called “Italy of the black continent”. Yet Tunisia plays very “shut” manner, occasionally counterattacking. Burkina Faso is a more active team. They move forward with more pleasure, but in the knockout game, they will similarly play quite carefully. Seems the first half goes without goals.

Gambia vs Cameroon

The Gambians have not missed a single goal in four matches, only once due to a penalty. Quite organized and daring team. Cameroon made an impression in the game against the Comoros, whose defender stood at the gate for the entire match. He defended almost the entire game in the minority. They looked very unconvincing, and hardly won 2:1.

Egypt vs Morocco

It seems that there is a high probability of a draw. Egypt finally had a good game, deservedly advanced to the quarterfinals. It was clear that the movements and the playing was better than in the group matches. Morocco, is the main favorite among the remaining teams. The team looks very cool, they attack in a variety of ways, they have good movements, and they apply pressure. Both teams will not take risks, especially in the second half, if a draw is to be maintained. The probability of a draw here is averagely higher.

If these three outcomes are to be combined, then we get a coefficient of almost 10.0. Let’s cross our fingers!
