“Would be amazing”: Reiss Nelson sets new goal regarding Arsenal after scoring double vs Nottingham Forest
The 22-year-old has recently impressed with Mikel Arteta’s side, scoring a brace against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last week.
Nelson’s current contract at the Emirates Stadium expires in the summer of 2023, while the player has now confirmed he would like to extend his stay.
“I’ve never doubted myself. I have a very, very strong bond and love for the club. There’s been times where I’ve been a bit down, but my plan has never been to leave or say that I have no future here. Of course [I would like a new deal],” he told GOAL.
“Getting a new deal would be amazing and I would love to commit to the club. But I’m just really, really focused on doing the right stuff.”
